I am only able to schedule a limited number of births per month to give clients the best service possible. Please keep this in mind and reserve your due date as soon as possible.

I love being able to use available or natural light, but with that being said, there is not always enough available light which can lead to not clear images. To counteract the lack of light, I will bounce my flash off walls and ceiling. This is not a popup flash that is going to flash in your face, but a strategically bounced flash to illuminate a desired area.

Newborn sessions can be booked as soon as you like. Most clients schedule their newborn session around their 5th or 6th month of pregnancy. A tentative session date will be scheduled, and then we will finalize a date after your baby is born, depending on if he or she came a little early or was a little too comfy in Mom's belly. :)

A fresh 48 session will take place while you and your baby are still at your birthing facility, hospital, or home. It usually happens within the first 48 hours after your baby’s birth. Most will choose to have their session the next day or even the morning they are discharged. This will give mom and baby plenty of time to rest up and get photo ready. A Fresh 48 will not take the place of birth photography, however it still captures those early moments during their first hours of life.

Ideally, between 7-14 days old is the most desirable time to photograph newborns. This allows mom and baby to recover some from birth, while baby is still young enough that they are still sleepy and more easily posed.

The best time to photograph your Maternity portraits is between 28-34 weeks of pregnancy. This allows me to showcase your blossoming belly, but helps you to not be so far along into your pregnancy that you are too uncomfortable posing.

I am a huge fan of earthy, natural colors. I feel like they let you be the star of the photo, while complimenting you and the background! However, it's important just to wear whatever you feel most comfortable in!
